Players can chat to each other during play by typing messages from their keyboards. There are restrictions on what you can say. It is forbidden to talk about what is in your hand during a game. Even after you have folded you must not tell other players what you had in your hand until the game is completed. Giving away information about your hand during a game helps the other players to make decisions. You may chat freely once a game has finished. To save time and typing out long sentences, abbreviations are used while chatting. Some of the abbreviation used are shown in the following box. Offensive language is not allowed and writing in capitals or using exclamation marks makes you appear to be shouting.
