There are 36 ways in which the dice can be thrown. A score of 7 can be made in six different ways and a score of 11 can be made two ways. A point can be established in 24 different ways. There is only one way each of throwing 2 or 12 and two ways to throw 3. Therefore, you stand a fairly good chance of either throwing a natural or establishing a point on the come-out roll.

House advantage
House advantage for bets on the pass line is 1.41 per cent. For the don’t pass line the advantage varies depending on how many  numbers are barred. Where no numbers are barred the house advantage is 1.402% but can be as high as 4.38% if three numbers are barred. To give yourself the best advantage, you should try to play on tables where no numbers are barred or, at worst, only one.
