GBP63 000 boost for UK chemist's bankroll

08.02.2007

Northampton, UK pharmacist Rajesh Modha saw his bankroll skyrocket this week after a 12 599-1 payout on Betfair Casino's Cash Inferno online slot machine.

The 44-year-old was punting on the Super Bowl when he made a GBP5 spin on the five-reel-slot. It paid him GBP63 000.

"I was just sitting there watching the game. I never thought that I would win this much, I'm thrilled to bits," said Modha, who has put in an order for a new BMW.

Modha is a keen poker player and sports bettor using the Betfair Exchange but says he often keeps an additional window of the Befair casino open for added entertainment.

The Betfair Casino was launched in October 2006 and includes the innovative Zero Lounge - a portfolio of casino products where the house edge has been removed giving players a fair chance of winning.
