Blue chip online skill gaming deal for GameAccount

29.11.2006

GameAccount showed its increasing dominance of the UK skill games market this week by landing a deal with top Brit bookmaker site Blue Square to supply a range of sophisticated skill game products. This will allow Blue Square customers to tap into the high-liquidity GameAccount network, joining players wagering real money from over 130 countries worldwide.

Accessible through a dedicated homepage tab, the Blue Square skill game service will be powered by GA's fully integrated, browser-based skill games software. The initial product focus will be on a core suite of popular skill-based derivatives: Multiplayer Blackjack, Gin Rummy and Backgammon, with the games supported by next-generation 'poker-style' tournament technology. Blue Square will also be able to launch bespoke branded tournaments exclusively accessible to its clientele. Initially the games will be available on main Blue Square site, with the possibility to roll out to other brands owned by parent company Rank Plc, as the partnership develops.

Ben Warn, Blue Square's commercial director remarked that GameAccount has proved to be strongly aligned with gthe Blue Square goals and is a perfect fit for its product expansion strategy. "We are particularly excited about their unique multiplayer products, providing greater choice and quality entertainment to our customer base," he said.

The service is expected to go live in January 2007.

GameAccount's Person-to-Person technology allows eGaming operators to expand their brand, acquire customers within key markets and reactivate lapsed players. Currently, millions of pounds, dollars and euros are paid out to players within the GameAccount Network each month. The Blue Square partnership is another in a series of key deals for the company. Current partners include the Sportingbet group, UK Betting, Paddy Power, Victor Chandler International, Skybet and the recently announced deal with William Hill PLC.
